Pride Magazine Nigeria is scheduled to have its annual conference, Pride Women Conference, on 24 November at 9 a.m. at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, Lagos. The theme of this year’s conference is “Women: Work, Relationship and Marriage in the 21st Century”.
The conference aims to outline strategic objectives and actions for the emotional and material well-being of the 21st century woman, her family and the society. This is an agenda for women empowerment because an emotionally balanced woman is a dynamo for successful personal achievement, a happy home, well-balanced children and an enhanced society.
It is the view of the organisers that a person’s emotional well-being, be they female or male, is very important for a fulfilling life. Any disequilibrium is likely to set off a torrent of issues that can negatively impact an individual’s quality of life.
Given the challenges of living in today’s fast-paced world of sound bite news, highly stressful jobs and fake affections, how does one keep their sanity and balance in relationships?
Expert facilitators will share their experiences to help the modern woman cope with the challenges of work, relationships and family in the 21st century.
The event will also witness the inaugural edition of the “HEARTS AS ONE AWARDS”. This celebrates and applauds couples who have been able to successfully navigate and surmount the challenges of being married and working together as business partners.
