Nominations for the 2019 Pride Jewel of Inestimable Value Awards opened on July 4, 2018. The Pride Magazine Nigeria Awards Committee selected eight eligible candidates for the award which is open to the general public to vote.
One of the nominees, Her Excellency, Aisha Buhari who was nominated for her courage to express her honest and heartfelt opinions about the lapses within the government and presidency, for the good of every Nigerian still uses the platforms available to her to express her grievances towards the system of government run by the ruling party. The Pride Jewel of Inestimable Value Award is given to women, living or dead, who have contributed greatly to the betterment of the society and our world. The public is invited to select the four women who will be given Jewel of Inestimable Value Awards at the 2019 Pride Women Conference.

Voting ends on Friday, March 29, 2019, and award recipients will be notified on Monday, April 15, 2019. The awards will be presented at the Pride Women Conference, taking place on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, Lagos.
