Kunle and Uche Majekodumi of Newton and David were recently presented with their Hearts as One Award plaque at a ceremony held in their office in GRA Ikeja, Lagos. The loving couple were both abroad during the 2017 Pride Women Conference.
The Hearts As One Awards celebrates couples that have been able to navigate and surmount the challenges of being married and working together – showcasing the fact that couples can be both loving partners and business partners.
They were among the seven couples honoured by the Pride Magazine Nigeria Awards Committee following a public call for nominations in October 2017.
The Citation for their award reads: “What strikes you on making the acquaintance of Kunle and Uche Majekodumi is that you may be fooled into thinking they are a brother and sister duo. They blend so well together. Observing them, you see a couple that have found their rhythm and harmony. The couple run one of the most successful events company in Nigeria – Newton and David.”
