Dr (Mrs) Margaret Ibru, fondly called Miss Maggie, is a pharmacist with BSc, MSc, and Doctorate degrees from the University of Ife, Université René Descartes, Paris V and Faculté de Pharmacie Châtenay-Malabry France, respectively. However, she has found joy in education as a vocation and is the founder of S.T.&T. Regency Schools, established over 25 years ago. Through S.T. & T., Miss Maggie has awarded scholarships to over 500 children, and has trained lawyers, doctors, designers, and engineers, among others. Miss Maggie has also served as a non-executive director of the Nigeria Bank of Commerce & Industry and a member of the board of trustees of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria Foundation (PSNF), among others.

She trained as a missionary under Haggai Ministry in Hawaii, USA and Ellel Ministry at Pierrepont in the UK. In addition, she was among the team of missionaries from Pierrepont who visited the Czech Republic to give hope and the power of forgiveness to people tormented by unforgiveness.

Miss Maggie is a professed Catholic but has been exposed to Anglican and Pentecostal traditions. She is determined to serve as a channel of God’s errands in a multicultural society and hopes to continue to be found worthy of serving as God deems fit. Her greatest achievement in life is becoming a committed lay associate of the Society of African Missions (SMA), having undergone SMA lay missionary training in Nigeria and Benin. She hopes to follow Christ through proclaiming the gospel. She is blessed with over 70 SMA brother priests, four children and three grandchildren.

Miss Maggie will be speaking on “Surviving Singleness in the Face of Threats”.
