Born to Noble parents in the river town of Asaba, in modern day Delta State, Claire Afulenu Chizea was brought up to lead and to give.

After an excellent career in the NIgerian Civil Service with both the Federal Housing Authority and Nigeria Airways, she settled into her own practice to become one of the top Estate Surveyors and Valuers in Nigeria.
