Barrister Toyin Ndidi Taiwo-Ojo

Legal Practitioner & Founder of Stop the Abuse against Children and Women Foundation

Toyin Ndidi Taiwo-Ojo is a legal practitioner and the founder of Stop the Abuse against Children and Women Foundation, popularly called Stop the Abuse Foundation. Born in the late 70s, Barrister Toyin attended Benita International School, Asaba, Delta State for her primary education. For her secondary education, she attended Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ojo, Lagos State and St Brigid’s Girls’ Grammar School, Asaba. The seasoned chartered negotiator and mediator bagged her law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, also known as the Great Ife . She is the principal partner of T. N. Taiwo & Co, and has worked in various firms, notable amongst them, Ladosu Ladapo SAN and Al Adl law firm.

She has served as the welfare secretary of the NBA Ota, Ogun State branch, member of the NBA national NHIS committee, and personal assistant of the wife of the governor of Kogi State, a position she held until she resigned in 2017 to focus on advocacy. A human rights advocate with a great passion for vulnerable children, women and the environment, Barrister Toyin sits on the board of some notable charities in Nigeria, which include but not limited to, Ebere Ijere Foundation, African Smart Cities Innovation Foundation, Nigeria Without Hunger Foundation, and Hayat Foundation.

Barrister Toyin is the Founder and Executive Director of Stop the Abuse against Women and Children Foundation, and is also the Lagos State Coordinator of African Smart Cities Innovation Foundation. She is a member of African Women Lawyers’ Association (AWLA), International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), and many other professional bodies.

Barrister Toyin Ndidi Taiwo-Ojo is the chairperson of the eight Pride Women Conference.
