To contribute to women’s financial freedom, a key component of emotional wellbeing, the Pride Women Conference is partnering with the Stanbic IBTC Blue Blossom financial empowerment initiative to support 50 women in their entrepreneurship journeys. The selected women will receive structured financial literacy training to build financial independence and sustainability.
Selection Criteria
Relevance: Participants must be women who have attended the Pride Women Conference or intend to attend the 2025 event.
Need: Priority will be given to women who demonstrate a clear need for financial support and literacy.
Commitment: Participants must commit to opening and maintaining a Stanbic IBTC Blue Blossom account with ₦20,000 and completing the financial literacy training.

- Review: Applications will be reviewed by a committee of the conference based on objective criteria.
Notification and Onboarding
- Notification: The selected women will be notified by April 28, 2025.
- Attendance of the 2025 Pride Women Conference: The cohort of 50 women are expected attend the 2025 Pride Women Conference where they will sign up for their Blue Blossom accounts and receive details of the financial training.

Stanbic IBTC Blue Blossom offers women better and easy access to business finance. It aims to help bridge the financing gap for women in careers/businesses and promote women economic empowerment in line with the CBN’s Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles.
